Two Workshops / Social Dances are being held this year. Our first was on 19 April, which was a great success. John "JB" Bishop, our Guest Instructor, took us through the basics of Two-Stepping, followed by some intricate moves for the more experienced dancers. Everyone came away with something to add to their repertoire. The workshop was followed by a Round-Up Social Dance, which was a fabulous night of line dancing, clogging and 2-stepping. A fun night was had by all.
Our Next Workshop /Social Dance will held on Saturday 19 July 2008. John Bishop will again be the Guest Instructor at the workshop, starting at 3.00 pm. You will be able to revise the beginner steps learnt at the previous workshop and also learn more of the intermediate and advanced steps. Our “Xmas in July” Round-Up Social Dance will follow the workshop, starting at 7.30 pm, to practise the steps learnt earlier in the day and dance all your favourite Clogging and Line Dances. Come along dressed in all your Xmas finery. Check out the flyer for more information.
ACA National Clogging Convention will be held from 19-21 September 2008 at the Sydney Academy of Sport, Narabeen NSW. More information about NFDAs involvement can be found here soon. In the meatime, feel free to check out their web site by clicking here.
